What is PRP?
Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is nothing but concentrated blood plasma which contains a much higher number of platelets as compared to normal blood. What is the procedure of PRP?
The procedure involves the application of numbing cream initially for half an hour. During this period 10 ml of your blood is collected and centrifuged at pre-determined settings. This concentrate is then injected into the skin using fine needles at the level of the collagen.
